PLEASE READ:
Must be local to Indiana or Illinois to win or able to drive to meet one of our volunteers to pick up your beef. (On average a small chest freezer 5 cubic feet will fit a 1/4 beef)
1/4 Beef after processing approximately 120 pounds Winner will connect with butcher to determine how they want the meat packaged and cut. (Don't worry they will walk you through the process)
Meat is typically ready to be picked up 2 to 3 weeks after it goes in for processing. A houndsong volunteer will meet the winner in Northwest Indiana, Central Indiana or Chicago Suburbs
This is locally raised beef that is grass fed and grain finished.
What will you get?
Approx 30 pounds of Ground beef or mix it up for some additional beef stew meat
Approx 6 pounds rolled rump roast (2) Arm Roasts (4) chuck Roasts
Approx 3 3/4 inch porterhouse steaks (or cut into filet and strips) 5 Tbone steaks 3 Sirloin steaks , (5) round steaks (8) Ribeyes
2 to 3 Soup bones and optional items : Flank Steak, Skirt Steak, Brisket
In the end you determine how you want the meat packaged how many pounds per package size of roasts and thickness of steaks
